Artist Statement

Due to my personal circumstances changing I went back to sewing as a solace. I now have the pleasure of regularly working with a number of fellow students with Rose Campbell which I really enjoy and appreciate. The piece I am working on at present stems from a design exercise we were set and is now developing into a body of work in my own style.

I look to the east for my design sources drawing inspiration from jewellery, buildings, architectural patterns, carpets, tiles, animals and of course colours!
