Jenny Mackay

Artist Statement

My work is very much influenced by my love of fibres. I never cease to be amazed by the beauty of the mingling of fibres. I love the process itself as well as the infinite variety of colours and textures that can be achieved.

I trained at Gray’s School of Art in Aberdeen specialising in Embroidery and Weaving and have exhibited widely and given workshops with the International Feltmakers Association, Edge, the Embroiderers’ Guild and other textile groups.
