Artist Statement

I graduated in Drawing and Painting from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art Dundee but enjoyed embroidery and weaving. Teaching Art & Design stimulated my interest in textiles. I enjoy working with a variety of colours and textures of threads and fabrics and in my most recent work I have combined hand made paper, bark and machine embroidery. My inspirations mainly comes from the natural environment.
