Fife Contemporary are currently embarking on an ambitious project to reconnect and grow our understanding of the art community in Fife, and wish to speak to as many artists, designers, and makers as possible over the coming months.

Fife has a vast number of artists; we want to speak to as many people as we can. Whether you are an established artist or a new maker who has (re)discovered a talent in recent years, we would like to hear from you. As well as connecting directly to art clubs and studio groups we are also planning to hold small meetings to find out the needs of the sector – this is your chance to have a voice!

The information gathered during the conversations will help strengthen artists’ networks across Fife and ensure the artist development programmes delivered by Fife Contemporary, now and in the future, provide the support and community needed for your practice to thrive.

The meetings will be lead by Claire Heminsley and a member of Fife Contemporary over two days – 20 July and 2 August 2022. Refreshments will be provided.

The venue for the meetings is Off the Rails Arthouse, Ladybank Station, KY15 7JT.

Each meeting slot will have a maximum of 8 people and should last no more than 2 hours.
Each meeting is free to attend (3 time slots per day to choose from).

These meetings are produced by Fife Contemporary with support from Creative Scotland Recovery Fund for Cultural Organisations. Fife Contemporary would like to thank Off the Rails Arthouse for their collaboration and support.
