Join us for this day long festival on Saturday 6 August from 11am to 7pm music programme with Live music from headliners KAPUTT.
Celebrating the food and drink production of Angus, this year our programme for Soil brings together an astonishing range of experts, artists and thinkers on this fundamental topic that links to concerns regarding, climate change, health and well being and future thinking around food and survival for all forms of life.
The programme for Soil has been planned in collaboration with FEAST online journal and Angus Growers, this continuing partnership is helping us grow the festival each year.
Buy your day long ticket and join the talks, discussions, screenings and workshops. Enjoy meeting all the food producers who will be out in force, at their stalls, available to sell you their produce and talk about what they make and how they are making it.

Important moments within the programme include:
Artist Rehana Zaman was the recipient of our Studio Time Commission in 2021. Her work Rubus will be launched as a completed project at Hospitalfield in 2023. As part of the development of this work Zaman presents a performance and screening as part of the programme for Soil.
A love letter to dance music, Echo in the Dark is a series of ‘silent’ bat raves taking place at Hospitalfield on the 8th, 9th and 10th September 2022.
