Time seems to be rushing away – it is now Monday, again.

I hope you are all surviving, enjoying the sunshine and the rain which was much needed.  I know, if you have a garden, that it is probably taking up more time than you ever thought it could.  What with that and going out for a walk if you can, spending time with your loved ones at home and time on phones, Skype, Zoom , and also the time spent queuing to get into the local shop/supermarket I don’t know how we have time to do any textile work.  But I expect you have.

Some things you might like to have a look at if you can find the time:  The National Galleries newsletter has lots of intereting item – Shonibare – see below, and a look at the McKinnon photography Archive; and a video about Jenny Saville

For this week’s #homeart activities, inspired by Shonibare’s Sun, Sea and Sand, we’re looking at how objects can tell stories, have conversations, and even create portraits!
